The Trauma Sales Representative will be primarily responsible for becoming the resident Trauma expert by meeting and exceeding sales objectives for the territory and associated Trauma product line. This will be accomplished by representing Stryker as a leader in our industry and the marketplace by working with a sophisticated audience comprised of surgeons and healthcare professionals.
As a result of building and maintaining strong business relationships and developing and implementing sales strategies, you will increase results throughout the territory. The candidate will be responsible for communicating with current and new customer accounts regarding a variety of topics including product updates, changes to product portfolio and educational programs.

Key Activities & Accountabilities
Driving growth in the territory through active constant customer engagement
Customer selection, targeted sales approach
Plan and execute on a quarterly and annual business plan, this will be showing management of existing revenue streams and customers, and driving acquisition across the territory generating growth.
Control all resources and materials in his/her territory (demo kit)
Customer care for physicians, surgical/theatre staff and hospital administration with the goal of achieving qualitative and sales-oriented consultation
Ensuring products are sold and revenue gains are established within the limits of in-house guidelines,
Achieving the sales and margin targets for the territory
Managing contracts and pricing agreements in the territory, working with RSM and PM to ensure this is within the desired company bands.
Representing Stryker to all levels of HCP, commissioners and managers in their territory
In-theatre support where required
Completing quotes / reporting as and when required
Support in-person customer experience of our products through coverage of exhibits, trade shows and educational labs
Continues to support compliance and the principles of responsibility by maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of information, protecting the assets of the organization, acting with ethics and integrity, reporting non compliance, and adhering to applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, accreditation and licenser requirements, and Company’s policies and procedures
Remains current on industry, customer, and competitive trends
Acts in a consultancy capacity with other Stryker departments
Promoting and disseminating the culture of compliance (compliance with regulations and ethical behavior).
Fulfill the quality policy and comply with company’s standard operative procedures with particular attention to the Vigilance ones
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree within the field of biomedical engineering, medical technology, pharma, health sciences or related industries
Native Italian speaker or C2 level
Minimum 2 years of experience
Knowledge of the healthcare system
Preferably sales experience in the Medical Devices or Pharma industry
Preferred:
Experience in the Trauma, Spine or Orthopedic sector is strongly preferred
Experience working in the operating room is strongly preferred
Advanced level of English
Experience in multinational company will be ideal
Advanced competences with Microsoft Office and Salesforce
