New hire : 2 sales Engineer to be recruited for Pavan Business line

Responsibilities / Tasks

Sales Engineer / Manager for Bakery Business

Drive sales of high-end bakery turnkey systems to industrial baking clients.

Serve as the primary contact for customers across India, ensuring smooth coordination between sales, service, and technical teams.

Conduct frequent customer visits, especially to key and strategic accounts, to build trust, offer guidance, and identify new business opportunities.

Strengthen relationships with existing clients while actively prospecting and onboarding new customers through follow-ups, market activities, and collaboration with internal support teams.

Study the Indian bakery and food processing landscape to identify growth areas and build a steady pipeline of potential projects.

Manage end-to-end sales cycles including lead generation, qualification, technical discussions, and closure.

Ensure high customer satisfaction by addressing issues quickly and supporting long-term service and maintenance opportunities.

Prepare India-specific sales forecasts, plans, and budgets, ensuring alignment with cross-functional teams such as logistics, procurement, manufacturing, and project management.

Guide and monitor regional agents to ensure consistent customer handling, compliance, and performance.

Participate in pricing discussions, commercial reviews, and negotiations according to company policies and approved frameworks.

Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activity, and emerging customer requirements.

Uphold company values and ethical standards in all business interactions to build long-term credibility with Indian customers.

Achieve sales targets while maintaining high standards of technical excellence and professionalism.

Your Profile / Qualifications

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Food Technology)
  • Additional exposure to food processing, industrial automation, or project sales is an added advantage.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales of:
    • Industrial bakery lines (bread, bun, cake, cookie, cracker, rusk, laminated products)
    • Turnkey bakery systems including mixers, sheeters, laminators, ovens, proofers, coolers, and automated packaging lines
    • Food processing or high‑capex capital machinery to large-scale manufacturing clients
    • Experience managing end-to-end sales cycles including lead generation, qualification, technical discussions, site visits, proposal development, and negotiation. Strong practical exposure to dealing with industrial bakeries, food processors, OEMs, and channel partners across India.
