About the Role
This position is a back-office role that supports internal customers across different business units by ensuring customer master data and related business requests are handled accurately and on time. This role plays an important part in establishing, maintaining, and updating customer hierarchy structures, including changes required by mergers, acquisitions, and other business structure updates. Success in this role comes from strong reading comprehension, careful attention to detail, sound judgment in handling customer master data, and the ability to work effectively across teams and systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Internal Request Management Support internal customers across different business units by handling customer master data-related requests accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Data Accuracy and Validation Review and validate customer master data for completeness, accuracy, and alignment across systems.
  • Customer Hierarchy Management Establish, maintain, and update customer hierarchy structures based on business requirements and approved governance rules.
  • Mergers and Acquisitions Support Review and implement hierarchy changes resulting from mergers, acquisitions, or other business structure updates while maintaining data accuracy and system alignment.
  • Documentation and Reporting Prepare and maintain required documentation, identify useful business insights, and provide reports or updates for senior staff in line with quality and business requirements.
  • Process Improvement Recommend practical improvements to workflows, master data processes, and reporting methods.
  • Compliance and Policy Awareness Ensure company expectations related to environmental management, health and safety, quality, and environmental policies are understood and followed.

Must Have Skills

  • Reading Comprehension Ability to carefully review business requirements, customer information, and supporting documents with strong comprehension and accuracy.
  • Attention to Detail High level of attentiveness to detail when handling customer hierarchies, documentation, reporting, and data validation.
  • Communication Skills Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and cross-functional partners.
  • Relationship Building and Teamwork Ability to build strong working relationships, collaborate effectively with others, and work toward shared goals across business units.
  • Digital Tools Proficiency Strong ability to use Microsoft business tools to support data management, reporting, and process improvement, such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Dynamics, Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and other Microsoft applications as needed.
  • Analytical Thinking Ability to gather, organize, and share useful business information to support decision-making.
  • Adaptability Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technology Curiosity Interest in digital tools, process improvement, and emerging technologies such as AI to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
  • Experience in customer master data, data governance, shared services, or a related role is preferred; experience in a semiconductor environment is an advantage
  • New graduates with strong academic performance and relevant internship or project experience are also encouraged to apply
  • Experience using SAP is an advantage
