Job Description



Key Responsibilities:
Contributes and assists with efforts/projects in the deployment, maintenance, and support of current and new data center infrastructure.
Develops, monitors, and maintains services to identify and eliminate service disruptions.
Works effectively in team environments to solve production incidents when low levels of automation are present.
Leads complex troubleshooting and resolves critical or escalated technical issues over a significant population of affected infrastructure.
Provides logging reports for performance, troubleshooting and capacity planning.
Participates in the development of processes and documentation for new areas of work or knowledge.
Performs technology upgrades, migrates and applies patches or firmware updates to the cloud infrastructure software or hardware.
Drives platform automation and orchestration, both from a technical standpoint and a process point of view.
Supports teams with uninterrupted service as they transition from legacy ways of working to adopt new leading practices, frameworks and technologies.
Provides technical support for infrastructure service-related incidents and resolves problems.
Performs peer reviews of code / deliverables and analysis for continuous learning and continuous improvement.

Job Requirements:
Knowledge of cloud infrastructure platform (public/private/hybrid)
Advanced understanding/experience of hardware architecture, maintenance and repair
Scripting skills
Operating systems: Linux and Windows
Manage monitoring environment using monitoring
Some experience with SQL / PLSQL
Understand cloud fundamentals

Decision Authority:
Performs a range of less structured work assignments
May coordinate or lead small projects or work streams as planned
Applies experience, judgment, guidelines, policies and precedents to analyze situations and complete assignments
