As an
Associate RCIC
, you will be a cornerstone of our firm’s legal practice. This is a high-impact role requiring a blend of expert legal advisory, team leadership, and operational oversight. You will act as an authorized representative for our clients, providing strategic counsel and ensuring that every application submitted by the firm meets the highest standards of professional excellence and legislative compliance.
Official Representation:
Act as the authorized representative for clients, overseeing the strategy, preparation, and final submission of all IRCC applications.
Client Consultations:
Lead professional appointments to assess eligibility, provide strategic advice, and design tailored immigration pathways.
Affidavit Services:
Serve as a Commissioner of Oaths to witness and commission legal documents, statutory declarations, and affidavits as required.
Legislative Mastery:
Maintain an expert-level understanding of the
Immigration and Refugee Protection Act
(IRPA) and
Regulations
(IRPR), ensuring all advice and filings reflect the latest policy changes and ministerial instructions.
Operational Leadership:
Assume full responsibility for the immigration department, leading the case management team to deliver consistent, high-quality results.
Quality Assurance:
Supervise the end-to-end preparation of files, ensuring every document is audited for accuracy and compliance before submission.
Workflow Optimization:
Oversee the lifecycle of Visa and Immigration services, identifying and resolving bottlenecks to ensure a smooth, efficient client experience.
Timeline Accountability:
Enforce strict adherence to government-mandated deadlines and internal processing milestones.
High-Level Coordination:
Liaise directly with IRCC, CBSA, and other government bodies to resolve complex client queries or navigate procedural fairness challenges.
Case Vetting:
Oversee the initial interviewing and vetting of prospective clients to ensure suitability and manage ethical case selection.
Relationship Management:
Foster and sustain strong, trust-based relationships with clients and internal colleagues to ensure long-term firm success.
Licensing:
Must be a
Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC)
in good standing with the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC).
Legal Expertise:
Extensive experience in preparing and submitting a wide range of visa categories (PR, TRV, LMIA, etc.) from scratch.
Communication:
Exceptional command of English (written and oral), with the ability to draft complex submission letters and legal arguments.
Technical Skills:
Advanced proficiency in modern office software and case management ecosystems.
Leadership:
Proven ability to manage a team, delegate effectively, and take full ownership of operational outcomes.
