Associate R&D Engineer

The product development engineer is responsible for delivery of the Visionaire and Coriograph Patient Matched Technology service to APAC customers. This includes the individual product design, managing the consulting process with customers and responsibility for product quality.

This role will also manage internal and external customers within their assigned regions, build and maintain strong relationships with critical business partners to promote the service and enable market growth.

What will you be doing?

• Responsible for delivery of the Visionaire & Coriograph Technology service in accordance with expected quality standards and timelines with appropriate customer consultation throughout the entire process.
• Ensure smooth data transfer and proper internal process flow by adequate communication within the international pre-op services team (US, EU) and the production site.
• Collaborate with the global pre-op services team to support development and delivery of patient matched technology to customers.
• Develop relationships with Visionaire surgeons to maintain their specific
  surgical preferences and optimise the surgery outcome.
• Support marketing activities, enable market entries and present in front of interdisciplinary and highly educated audience.
• Productivity reporting to ensure case planning targets are achieved and backup is coordinated as required.
• Must be able to troubleshoot common error codes in software utilized for surgical planning and case management.
• Works closely with Engineering manager, other managers, and Engineering team on updates to Work Instructions, case planning processes and training delivery.

What will you need to be successful?

• Ability to communicate in Japanese is essential
• Bachelor’s degree in Biomechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Mechanics or other related engineering field.
• 2 years plus relevant experience in comparable industry.
• Available to travel: 5-10 %
