About the Role
Reporting to Assistant Manager or Manager-R2R Fixed Asset & Bank, this position shall be responsible for end to end of Fixed Asset (FA) and GLMS process as well as bank reconciliation process. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and timely resolution of any discrepancies across multiple entities and regions.
Fixed Assets and Lease Accounting
Generate fixed asset and AUC transactions including recording and matching in SAP.
Generate lease entries from GLMS and prepare journal to upload to SAP
Prepare journal on rent adjustment entries.
Insert the assets number in ARIBA purchase requisition
Monitor and ensure fixed asset transactions including AUC cost recording in a timely and accurate manner.
Perform reconciliation & ensure completeness of depreciation posting and lease entries posting to General Ledger/SAP.
Maintain Lease register, ensuring all lease contracts are properly recorded and tracked at GLMS system.
Follow up lease contract before expiry date with stakeholder
Handle lease modifications include changes in terms, or early terminations. Adjust the lease liability and ROU asset based on modification.
Bank
Perform clearing of bank items on a timely basis
Perform bank reconciliation monthly and investigate and resolve any unreconciled items
Update all interest income and accrued income for fixed deposit in template from FD statement and upload for posting
Financial Reporting & Analysis
Prepare quarterly / semi-annual / annual Group reporting template following Group Closing instructions.
Stakeholder Support
Response to routine queries from internal teams promptly and professionally.
Escalate unresolved issues to Assistant Manager as and when needed support.
Compliance & Documentation
Maintain proper documentation for all transactions in line with audit requirements.
Update Closing/Control Checklist, Training Materials and Business Process Manuals as and when required.
Control & Governance
Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations.
Ensure ICFR control objective is met.
Balance Sheet Reconciliation:
Perform balance sheet accounts reconciliations and resolve the unreconciled / open items on a timely manner.
Process Improvement
Contribute process improvement opportunities within fixed asset, lease and bank workflows.
Others
Involve in UAT as and when required.
Perform other month end closing activities and ad hoc requests as and when required.
Support on other projects and matters as and when required.
