Capgemini is seeking skilled and detail‑oriented Japanese Bilingual QA Testers with a strong background in manual testing. The ideal candidate should have hands‑on experience with functional testing, solid understanding of SDLC/STLC, and strong analytical skills. Experience in the insurance domain is an advantage .
Analyse business requirements and functional specifications.
Design, develop, and execute detailed test cases and test scenarios.
Perform Sprint, Regression, Integration, System, and SIT testing
Validate end‑to‑end insurance workflows
(Quote → Bind → Issue → Endorsement → Renewal → Claims)
Identify, log, track, and retest defects using defect management tools.
Collaborate closely with BAs, Developers, PMs, Product Owners, and Test Teams.
Support UAT activities and assist business users as needed.
Create/manage test data for various testing phases including UAT.
Provide Sprint‑wise effort estimations in Jira.
3 years of experience in Manual Functional Testing
Experience with Batch Testing & backend job validation.
Strong knowledge of SDLC & STLC
Proficiency in writing and executing test cases & scenarios.
Experience with tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar.
Basic Java knowledge to run/support automation scripts.
Ability to create/manage test data for different testing needs.
Basic SQL skills for data manipulation and validation.
Excellent analytical and communication abilities.
Insurance domain experience
(Policy Administration, Claims, Billing)
Exposure to automation tools (e.g., Selenium).
API Testing experience ( Postman, REST).
Understanding of Non-functional testing
(Performance, Recovery, Security)
Experience in testing scheduled jobs and batch processes.
Japanese JLPT N3 or N2 certification is mandatory
Strong business-level English communication.
