Job Opening for Associate Quality Assurance Analyst
Location: Bangalore – India
Department: Technology


We are seeking an Associate Quality Assurance Analyst to join our Technology team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in manual testing and will be responsible for ensuring high-quality software delivery through effective test planning, execution, and defect management.

The role requires close collaboration with development and product teams to identify testing needs, improve testing efficiency, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the QA process.
This role is not limited to geographical boundaries or specific business teams and is part of a centre of excellence for digital tools and technologies that supports the larger business.

Responsibilities:

 Manual Testing Skills
o Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
o Proficient in creating, executing, and managing test cases and test scenarios.
o Proficient in managing defect life cycle.
 Automation Testing Skills
o Familiarity with automation tools (Selenium and Playwright)
 Tools and Technologies
o Experience with project and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Zephyr).
o Experience with continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) is a plus.
 Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills
o Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
o Attention to detail with the ability to identify edge cases and potential issues proactively.
 Preferred Skills
o Knowledge in performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
o Knowledge on accessibility testing.

Required Skills

 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance and manual testing.
 Web application or E-Commerce testing knowledge.
 Hands-on experience testing through the development cycle and pre-release in an Agile framework
 Ability to perform root cause analysis for defects and issues.
 Testing process knowledge and ability to communicate with the development teams to provide constructive feedback and improvement tips.
 Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
 Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test cases.
 Solid knowledge on tools like Jira, Zephyr & Confluence
 Experience and understanding of XML and other web technology standards

Ideal candidate

 Strong Knowledge in Ecommerce and Web application testing.
 Someone with a keen eye for detail, a passion for quality and a passion for process.
 This role requires the individual to work in the UK shift (12:00 PM – 9:00 PM India time).
 Ability to take direction, constructive feedback, and work to specified deadlines
 Adhere to processes and procedures defined for the role, the team, and the organization
 Having excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
 Ability to work individually or within a team environment.
 Ability to manage multiple projects, tasks, and priorities in a healthy work environment
