This is an excellent opportunity for a project professional with experience managing operational delivery within an SLA-driven environment. You will work closely with project managers, field engineering teams, customers, and suppliers to ensure service activities are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with contractual commitments.

How You'll Make an Impact

As an Associate Project Manager, you will play a key role in coordinating project and service delivery activities, ensuring work is completed in accordance with agreed timelines, budgets, quality standards, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

You will:

  • Support the planning, coordination, and delivery of projects and operational activities.
  • Monitor and manage performance against contractual SLAs, KPIs, response times, and resolution targets.
  • Coordinate field engineers, subcontractors, and internal resources to ensure timely project and service execution.
  • Act as a key operational point of contact for customers and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify and proactively manage delivery risks, escalating issues where appropriate to minimise SLA breaches.
  • Support project scheduling, resource planning, and work allocation activities.
  • Track project progress, milestones, deliverables, and service performance metrics.
  • Assist with project governance activities, reporting, and stakeholder communications.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, records, and compliance requirements.
  • Create, review, and maintain RAMS/RAMPS documentation to support safe project execution.
  • Raise purchase orders and coordinate material procurement activities to support project delivery.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to ensure efficient delivery of project objectives.
  • Produce regular performance reports, project updates, and operational dashboards.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance service delivery, project execution, and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure all activities are delivered in accordance with Hitachi Energy's health, safety, and quality standards.

Your Background

Essential

  • Experience in an Associate Project Manager, Project Coordinator, Service Delivery Coordinator, or similar role.
  • Strong experience working within an SLA-driven environment, managing performance against contractual service commitments.
  • Experience coordinating field-based engineering, maintenance, infrastructure, utilities, telecommunications, energy, or technical service operations.
  • Understanding of project management principles, project controls, scheduling, and risk management.
  • Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders, resources, and workstreams simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of service delivery metrics, escalation management, and customer performance reporting.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities within a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project or service management systems.

Desirable

  • Experience within infrastructure, energy, utilities, construction, or engineering environments.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies such as PRINCE2, APM, Agile, or equivalent.
  • Experience creating and managing RAMS/RAMPS documentation.
  • Procurement and supplier management experience.
  • Experience supporting multi-site field service operations.
  • Understanding of infrastructure deployment, maintenance, or asset management programmes.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary and benefits package.
  • Annual bonus opportunity.
  • 24 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
  • Generous pension scheme.
  • Ongoing training and development opportunities.
  • Career progression within a global organisation.
  • A strong health, safety, and wellbeing culture.
