Job Description

Koniag Data Solutions, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an Associate Project Manager with a Secret security clearance to support KDS and our government customer in Arlington, VA.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:
• Assist with the day-to-day management of project tasks, including tracking progress, updating schedules, and following up on deliverables.
• Prepare and distribute activity and status reports for various projects, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Support the Project Management Office (PMO) by maintaining project documentation, organizing meetings, and managing project-related communications.
• Help identify and mitigate potential project risks and issues, escalating to the Project Manager as needed.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather updates and ensure alignment on project goals.
• Develop and conduct analysis on datasets to provide detailed analysis and reports surrounding daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly statistical analysis.
• Understand and negotiate needs and expectations of multiple stakeholders.
• Support and align efforts to meet customer and business needs.
• Identify improvement opportunities (proactive and reactive).
Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• 1-2 years of experience in project coordination or administrative role, preferably within a project-driven environment.
• 1-2 years of experience using Microsoft Power BI for data analysis and reporting.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello, Jira) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
• Familiarity with basic project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) is a plus.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of related experience.
• 2+ years’ experience with providing analysis of existing processes, requirements, functionality, and systems to determine how a system works.
Clearance Requirement:
• Active Secret Security Clearance.
