
Grant funded through September 30, 2028 ( position is contingent upon renewed grant funding by the terms outlined by contract through September 30, 2031)
Associate Professor - salary range $57,639 - $67,546
CCSNH has established employer status within the New England states (Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island). In compliance with CCSNH policies and state regulations, eligibility for employment within CCSNH and its institutions requires residency within a New England state.
SCOPE OF WORK: To educate students in nursing (or LPN) asoutlined in a prescribed program curriculum and to coordinate departmental initiatives and/or institutional activities that advance the mission of the college in support of the Rural Health Transformation Grant (RHT). This position is located at the Lebanon Campus but may also require travel to the Claremont campus. This position reports to the Department Chair of Nursing at River Valley Community College.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education Master’s degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university with a major study in the nursing field. Possession of a Master’s degree in Education shall require twelve (12) graduate credits in a subject area closely related to the teaching assignment and a Bachelor’s degree in a Nursing.
Experience: Five (5) years of teaching experience in Nursing, or five (5) years of business or industry experience directly related to Nursing.
Licensure/Certifications: Must possess current or active Registered Nurse license in New Hampshire. Must meet the continuing education requirements by the Board of Nursing to maintain continuing licensure.
RECOMMENDED WORK TRAITS: Thorough knowledge of teaching methods and materials, problems and subject matter as related to courses of instruction. Considerable knowledge of principles, methods, techniques, materials and equipment om post-secondary teaching. Knowledge of educational standards and procedures in the College to which assigned. Ability to work with and secure the cooperation of others. Ability to maintain comprehensive and accurate records of the progress and development of the individual student. Evidence of good professional attitude. Must be willing to maintain appearance appropriate to assigned duties and responsibilities as determined by the college appointing authority.
