The University of Tennessee Health Science Center- Department of Family Medicine, Memphis, seeks a full-time non-tenure Associate Professor. Faculty are expected to support clinical operations, engage in academic programming, and participate in service initiatives that align with departmental and institutional priorities.
Responsibilities include delivering patient care consistent with departmental practice standards, participating in the education of medical students, residents, and other learners, and contributing to departmental and institutional service activities.
EDUCATION: MD or DO Degree from an accredited institution. Completion of an accredited Family Medicine Residency program is required.
EXPERIENCE: Experience in clinical practice and teaching is expected, with demonstrated ability to contribute to learner education and patient care in an academic setting.
LICENSES: Must be eligible for or hold an unrestricted physician license in the State of Tennessee and maintain board certification in Family Medicine.
