The Opportunity
This position works out of our Arecibo location in the CRM division. As a global leader in Cardiac Rhythm Technologies, we focus on innovative technologies that can improve the way doctors treat people with heart arrhythmias, or irregular heartbeats.
Shift: Second shift
As an Associate Manufacturing Supervisor, you will manage the operations and personnel of assigned production area to maximize productivity and operating efficiencies. Oversee personnel and processes of assigned production area to achieve quality, safety, people, and productivity objectives. Promote safe work environment and behaviors. Maintain a high level of Product Quality and Compliance by ensuring production is performed following Quality System and procedural requirements. Ensure personnel complies with company policies and procedures. Assist in the coordination of labor, materials, equipment, and tooling to assemble product effectively and deliver it per production schedule requirements. Collaborate with other departments and functions as required in support of meeting operational objectives.
What You’ll Do
Schedules and organizes assigned production area to achieve supply commitments and maintain targeted levels of inventories.
Monitors daily line metrics and provide direction and guidance to skilled nonexempt staff to achieve unit or project goals.
Assists with activities related to shift starts and changes.
Understands all line PFM's. Proposes changes to PFM’s based on process changes or station improvements.
Supports staffing plan by identifying resource requirements and coordinating the selection process with Human Resources.
Monitors and reports on performance to Operational & Financial metrics for the area.
Oversees personnel and processes to ensure full compliance with internal and external regulations. Oversees personnel and processes to ensure production meets all associated quality standards.
Supports investigations for man related quality incidents and supports implementation of corrective actions along with Quality department.
Maintains a safe work environment with 100% training and compliance to applicable procedures. Performs investigations for safety incidents, and drive implementation of corrective actions along with Safety department. Assist in preparing training plans to achieve line ergonomic rotation objectives.
Communicates to line personnel daily while maintaining a constant line presence. Responsible for achieving department attendance targets including immediate feedback to employees by instance. Executes policies that affect work processes and personnel within the assigned area. Develops direct reports by securing appropriate training, assigning progressively challenging tasks, rewarding positive behavior, and applying disciplinary action as appropriate.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree Science, Engineering and Business Administration
Minimum one (1) year of experience with mechanical heart valve products is required.
Experience
Able to read, speak, and write Spanish and English.
Strong leadership skills.
Computer literacy.

The base pay for this position is
$45,000.00 – $89,800.00
