This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Associate Product Manager Pleno - Banking based in Brazil.
This role offers the opportunity to shape and evolve digital banking and payment products that serve a broad and diverse customer base. You will work across core banking, digital accounts, payments, transfers, boletos, and customer relationship platforms. The position combines product strategy, data-driven decision-making, stakeholder management, and hands-on backlog ownership. You will identify structural improvements that strengthen reliability, scalability, security, and regulatory compliance. Working closely with engineering, data, operations, compliance, banking partners, and regulators, you will help deliver end-to-end financial solutions. Accountabilities:
- Lead the evolution of Core Banking and Payments products, covering digital accounts, boleto issuance and settlement, PIX, TED, DOC, and customer relationship platforms.
- Diagnose existing account and payment journeys and propose structural improvements that enhance reliability, scalability, security, and regulatory compliance.
- Own and manage the product backlog, balancing technical and functional priorities while working closely with stakeholders to ensure high-impact deliveries.
- Define priorities and translate business and customer needs into clear product requirements and actionable initiatives.
- Monitor product KPIs and performance metrics, using data to identify optimization opportunities, evaluate outcomes, and inform product decisions.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Data/BI, Compliance, Operations, banking partners, and regulatory stakeholders to design and implement end-to-end solutions.
- Contribute to the development of new product capabilities and improvements across digital banking and payment experiences.
- Ensure product initiatives remain aligned with business objectives, customer needs, operational requirements, and applicable financial regulations.
Requirements:
- Professional experience as a Product Manager, preferably working with Core Banking, payments, financial APIs, or banking-service infrastructure.
- Solid knowledge of Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban, with practical experience managing and prioritizing product backlogs.
- Strong analytical capabilities and experience using data to support product decisions, including tools such as Excel and SQL.
- Good understanding of digital accounts, payment methods, reconciliation, settlement processes, and banking integrations is highly desirable.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and external partners in complex product environments.
- Ability to translate complex technical, operational, and business requirements into clear priorities and product solutions.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills.
- Customer-oriented mindset combined with business awareness and a structured approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work with autonomy in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
