About the Opportunity
As part of Dayforce’s Product organization, you will help shape and deliver foundational platform capabilities that power the Dayforce ecosystem. These services provide the building blocks that enable scalable, secure, reliable, and high-performing experiences for developers, customers, and users across all Dayforce products. In this role, you will partner closely with Product Managers, Engineering, Architecture, and Design teams to support the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of core platform capabilities such as shared services, messaging, event-driven architectures, job execution, observability, logging, monitoring, and developer experience. The ideal candidate is curious, customer-focused, technology-driven, and excited about solving complex problems while learning and growing within a collaborative environment.
What You’ll Get to Do
• Partner with Product Managers and Engineering teams to define, deliver, and continuously improve platform capabilities.
• Own and manage a focused area of the product portfolio, helping drive roadmap execution and product outcomes.
• Work closely with Scrum teams to refine requirements, prioritize work, and ensure successful delivery of initiatives.
• Gather and analyze feedback from customers, internal stakeholders, and product teams to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Translate business and customer needs into clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Support roadmap planning through research, data analysis, and prioritization activities.
• Monitor product usage, adoption, and operational metrics to identify trends and optimization opportunities.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Design partners throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Participate in customer discovery sessions, feedback discussions, and research activities to better understand user needs.
• Stay informed on industry trends, platform technologies, and emerging best practices.
• Explore opportunities to leverage AI-powered capabilities and AI-assisted development tools to improve products and team productivity.
• Communicate product priorities, updates, and outcomes to stakeholders across the organization.
Skills and Experience We Value
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience in Product Management, Business Analysis, Software Development, Product Operations, or a related field.
• Strong interest in technology products and software development.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable using data to support decision-making and prioritization.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and Scrum practices.
• Exposure to cloud technologies, APIs, platform services, or enterprise software concepts is an asset.
• Interest in artificial intelligence, generative AI, and emerging technologies.
• Demonstrated curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
What Would Make You Stand Out
• Experience working on platform products, developer tools, or shared services.
• Understanding of observability, event-driven architectures, messaging systems, or cloud-native technologies.
• Experience supporting roadmap planning and backlog management.
• Ability to leverage customer insights and data to drive product recommendations.
• Demonstrated success building strong partnerships across Product, Engineering, and Design teams.
• Passion for emerging technologies and applying AI-enabled solutions to improve product outcomes.
