Job Description

We are hiring an Associate Product Documentation Specialist in BlueCare at BCBST!​

The Associate Product Documentation Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring BlueCare Tennessee’s member materials and digital content meet TennCare, NCQA, accessibility, and regulatory standards. This position owns the creation, review, and approval coordination for highly regulated member documents across mail, web, and digital channels. This position is a great fit for someone who is detail‑oriented, compliance‑minded, and comfortable managing high‑volume, deadline‑driven work where accuracy and follow‑through are essential. This role is h igh‑volume, task‑based work managing hundreds of regulated materials and updates annually

Success in this role requires skills with regulated or compliance-driven content, strong attention to detail, comfort with deadlines, and familiarity with accessibility or healthcare content. In addition, it is very important for this individual to master CRA timelines and requirements, manage multiple approvals, maintain audit-ready documentation, and balance speed with accuracy.

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee the creation, review, and fulfillment of member and provider communications, ensuring benefit information is accurate and delivered within designated deadlines.
  • Act as the department liaison with key functional groups to maintain open communication regarding plan design changes, administrative updates, and compliance requirements.
  • Ensure all product documents meet regulatory standards and organizational guidelines, incorporating industry best practices and competitive insights.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of plan materials to verify accuracy, consistency, and clarity before distribution.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline document workflows and enhance efficiency in production and fulfillment processes.

Job Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required. Equivalent experience is defined as 4 years of professional work experience in a corporate environment

Experience

  • 3 years - Marketing and/or communications experience required
  • 2 years - Project management, account management or similar experience required
  • Experience in a member/customer-focused position is required.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry preferred

Skills Certifications

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in document management systems
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards preferred
