Associate Procurement Manager (Logistic) – Southeast Asia you will be responsible for managing the procurement of warehousing as well as transportation services Inbound, outbound and intercompany. Southeast Asia markets comprise of 6 markets: Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippine & Vietnam.
This role aims to develop, structure and elevate our logistic game by ensuring with the right level of service and cost-effective logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead negotiationswith suppliers to secure the best terms and conditions, coach the team for negotiations.
Ensure the right servicefrom transportation and warehousing providers.
Analyse and develop deep understanding of the 6 markets, including external economic factors which influence those markets
Provide the business with accurate price forecasting, which includes market conditions understanding, to enable proper budgeting and price forecasting
Identify and build partnershipwith key suppliers
Develop contingency plansand alternatives to ensure supply security
Monitor overall performanceof the supply network and ensure continuous improvement
Deliver bottom line savings by working together with Suppliers, Operations Team and Domestic Logisticsto identify and implementing cost saving programs (supply network optimization initiatives etc.)
Developing best in classcontracts (fuel indexation, competitive improvement clauses etc.) and managing contract pipeline

Preferred Requirements and skills:
At least 3-5 years’ experience on Logistic area, 3 years on transportation or warehouse operation management.
Agile, quick learner, open minded and has certain level of strategic thinking.
Positive and can do attitude, proven cases in transportation and warehousing performance improvements, driving projects.
Problem solving and data analysis : Strong data analysis, use data and facts to identify problem, then be able to find out root cause and resolve problem.
Knowledge of sourcing and procurement tactics & strategies as well as a skill in “reading” the market
Strong leadership capabilities, Talent in negotiations and networking
Very good English language skills both oral and written
Bachelor’s degree in purchasing, logistics, supply chain management or business administration
