In this role, you'll:

  • Lead end-to-end procurement activities, including market analysis, sourcing strategy development, tender processes, evaluations, negotiations, and contract award.
  • Manage complex, high-risk, and high-value procurement projects in accordance with government policies and legislative requirements.
  • Support the development of category management and sourcing strategies that improve value, efficiency, and service outcomes.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver fit-for-purpose procurement solutions.
  • Identify and mitigate procurement, commercial, and operational risks.
  • Contribute to procurement governance, policy development, reporting, and continuous improvement programs.

Location

Roles are located in Parramatta.

Roles within the Roads Maintenance Resilience (RMR) Portfolio are available statewide across NSW.

Flexible and hybrid working arrangements are supported.

About you

You are an experienced procurement professional who can confidently manage complex sourcing activities and work collaboratively with stakeholders to deliver strong commercial outcomes.


You will bring:

  • Demonstrated experience managing complex procurement and sourcing activities within a large organisation.
  • Strong knowledge of government procurement frameworks, policies, legislation, and probity requirements.
  • Proven ability to lead high-value tender processes and commercial negotiations.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to build credibility at all levels.
  • Strong commercial acumen and risk management capability.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.
  • Experience working across diverse categories such as facilities management, construction materials and services, professional services, infrastructure.
