In this role, you'll:
Work as part of a team delivering strategic sourcing, category planning, procurement governance and value‑for‑money outcomes across Transport for NSW, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and NSW Government objectives.
This role will see you add purpose by supporting category plan development, undertaking strategic sourcing events, preparing and negotiating supplier agreements, managing procurement risks, monitoring sourcing activities, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
You will lead, navigate, and build improved procurement effectiveness, value, and governance, enabling better sourcing decisions, enhanced risk management, and higher quality procurement outcomes in a complex, commercially sensitive and rapidly evolving procurement environment.
There are multiple positions across various locations. All Goods and Services roles will be based at Macquarie Park, with DP&MC roles located in Parramatta and operational sourcing roles in Burwood.

About you
Your stakeholder management strength, commercial acumen, strategic thinking and procurement expertise—formed across government, infrastructure, commercial or complex organisational environments—will see you excel in influencing diverse stakeholders, navigating complex processes, driving sourcing activities, and overcoming challenges associated with policy change, market shifts and varied expectations.
You will bring the professional judgement, governance focus and analytical capability needed to lead to sound procurement decisions, improved processes, strong category outcomes and organisation‑wide value for money.
You’re recognised as ethical and professional, skilled at negotiating, analysing markets, preparing strategic procurement documentation, advising stakeholders and managing procurement risks, and experienced in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, category planning, and applying NSW Government procurement frameworks.
