In this role, you'll:


• Deliver complex end-to-end sourcing activities, including RFx processes and contract negotiations


• Support the development and execution of category strategies aligned to organisational objectives


• Provide expert procurement and commercial advice to stakeholders across the business


• Lead and facilitate cross-functional project teams to deliver sourcing initiatives


• Prepare and negotiate supplier agreements in line with governance and probity requirements


• Identify, manage and mitigate procurement risks


• Monitor sourcing outcomes and contribute to continuous improvement and capability uplift

Multiple roles are available. Roles that provide services to Roads Maintenance Resilience are statewide. Roles that provide services to other areas of Transport for NSW are located in Parramatta. Role location will depend on the business unit. Flexible and hybrid working arrangements are supported.

About you


You are an experienced procurement professional who can confidently manage complex sourcing activities and work collaboratively with stakeholders to deliver strong commercial outcomes.


You will bring:


• Demonstrated experience in procurement, sourcing, or category management within a complex environment


• Strong commercial acumen and ability to analyse markets and supplier opportunities


• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and manage competing priorities


• Experience leading sourcing projects and facilitating cross-functional teams


• Strong understanding of procurement governance, risk management, and probity


• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to prepare high-quality procurement documentation


Highly regarded:


• Experience within NSW Government procurement frameworks


• Exposure to infrastructure, construction, facilities management, or direct procurement categories
