Your new role

As an Associate Process Engineer, you'll support the implementation and optimization of robotic and automation solutions across our production facilities. The role will develop over time: over the next two years it will become increasingly operational and less project‑oriented, with a permanent presence in production. You will work close to operators, support functions and management to ensure stable, compliant and continuously improving automated logistics processes.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the final phase of ongoing automation and robotics projects and the transition into an operational role supporting process with robotics and automation technologies

  • Acting as a daily operational support for automated and robotic systems in production, working closely with operators

  • Coordinating between warehouse, production and support functions to ensure stable and efficient automated logistics

  • Helping operators troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automated logistics and robotic equipment

  • Monitoring, collecting and reporting relevant KPIs related to automated logistics and operational performance

  • Identifying, driving and implementing process improvements to increase robustness, efficiency and flow

  • Supporting deviation handling in close collaboration with quality responsible functions

  • Ensuring proper documentation of procedures, processes and training material in accordance with good documentation practice

  • Collaborating with process and quality teams to ensure cGMP compliance and inspection readiness, including participation in regulatory inspections

In CMC & Product Supply, we cover the full value chain from drug and device development to marketed Novo Nordisk products. We are more than 30,000 colleagues across the globe with the shared responsibility of scaling molecules, processes, devices, and products, dedicated to supplying life-saving medicines to the patients who need them most.

You will join PPV New Tech, Supply Chain and Logistics in Kalundborg, Denmark. The team is part of Business Support and plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient daily operation of supply chain and logistics within PPV.

Your skills & qualifications

We're looking for an enthusiastic early-career professional ready to grow in pharmaceutical automation. You'll bring:

  • A min. a bachelor’s degree in automation, robotics, engineering, or a related technical field.

  • 0-2 years of experience in working with robots or robotics automation

  • Foundational knowledge of robotics and automation principles

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across departments

  • A proactive mindset with eagerness to learn and challenge current practices

  • Good proficiency in English, both written and verbal
