Job Description

Senior I18N Engineers will lead hands‑on implementation of internationalisation across Wesco platforms, partnering closely with the I18N Architect to ensure consistent adoption of standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement I18N solutions across frontend and backend layers
  • Externalise UI messages, labels, and error handling
  • Build locale‑aware services and APIs
  • Ensure currency, date/time, number formatting is configuration‑driven
  • Support SIT/UAT defect resolution related to I18N
  • Guide junior engineers and perform code reviews
  • Collaborate with QA on I18N automation and regression coverage
  • Should have exposure to Legal and Financial requirement for the region
  • Having exposure to distribution domain will be added advantage

Skills:

Core

  • Internationalisation (I18N), localisation readiness
  • Externalised resource bundles / message catalogues

Frontend

  • Modern UI frameworks (React / Angular or similar)
  • Responsive layouts, text expansion handling

Backend

  • Java / .NET / NodeJS (any large‑scale enterprise stack)
  • REST APIs, JSON
  • Locale‑aware service design

Engineering Practices

  • Enterprise SDLC
  • SIT / UAT ownership
  • Defect management in release cycles
