This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Associate Principal Consultant, Business Analyst based in India.

This role offers a strategic opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst to drive clarity and alignment across complex software development initiatives. You will act as a key bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring requirements are well understood and effectively translated into scalable digital solutions. The position involves working on enterprise-grade projects where analytical depth and structured thinking directly influence product outcomes. You will engage with cross-functional teams across multiple geographies in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The role requires strong ownership in shaping requirements, improving processes, and enabling successful delivery. It is ideal for someone who thrives in solving complex business challenges and bringing structure to ambiguity.

Accountabilities:

Lead end-to-end business analysis activities across software development projects, ensuring clear translation of business needs into actionable requirements.
Facilitate requirements-gathering workshops with stakeholders at different levels, ensuring alignment and clarity on business objectives and priorities.
Develop detailed documentation including business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specifications, use cases, and user stories.
Conduct gap analysis, impact assessment, and risk evaluation to support informed decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.
Collaborate closely with engineering, QA, and product teams to ensure accurate implementation of requirements and smooth delivery.
Support project planning activities and contribute to delivery governance using structured methodologies and best practices.
Continuously refine business processes and identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.

Requirements:

8+ years of experience in business analysis within software development or IT environments.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, methodologies (Agile, Waterfall), and delivery frameworks.
Proven ability to lead requirement-gathering sessions and manage stakeholders across business and technical domains.
Expertise in creating structured documentation such as BRDs, user stories, functional specifications, and process flows.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex systems and business processes.
Experience in risk analysis, dependency mapping, and impact assessment in enterprise projects.
Good understanding of project management principles and collaboration with delivery teams.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
A proactive mindset with a strong focus on continuous learning and improvement.
