The Tennessee College of Applied Technology Elizabethton is accepting applications for a Practical Nursing Associate Instructor. The Practical Nursing Associate Instructor is a grant-funded position supported by Ballad Health Academy's high school medical training initiative. Continuation of employment is contingent upon the availability of grant funding. This position serves a unique role in preparing the next generation of healthcare professionals through a partnership between TCAT and Dobyns-Bennett High School. The instructor will be embedded at Dobyns-Bennett High School and will work closely with dual-enrollment students participating in an accelerated healthcare career pathway program. Students in the program receive both job experience and college-level coursework designed to support entry into healthcare careers. In addition to traditional nursing instructor responsibilities, the Associate Instructor will provide classroom, laboratory, simulation, and clinical instruction; support student success and retention; maintain program records; and collaborate with educational and healthcare partners to promote workforce development opportunities. The Associate Instructor reports directly to the Director of Practical Nursing.

SALARY RANGE:
This is a full-time, exempt position. Salary is commensurate with qualifications, education, and experience
according to established TBR salary guidelines. Salary range: $56,263 - $67,517.
