About the role:
CHANEL is looking for an Associate, PR and Influence to join our Fragrance & Beauty team in New York City. You will play a foundational role in supporting daily activations, beauty closet operations, and event logistics. This is a unique opportunity for someone passionate about beauty, influencers, and content creators, who thrives in a dynamic environment and is always tuned into the trends shaping the world of influence. Your work will ensure the seamless coordination of product send-outs, event support, and operational excellence, helping bring CHANEL’s vision to life across the influence and beauty landscape.
What impact you can create at CHANEL:
• Ensure efficient daily operations of the beauty closet, including management of product inventory, send-outs for influencer and press activations, ad hoc requests, and events.
• Track product requests and deliveries; coordinate product orders to maintain beauty closet stock and support launches and ongoing activations.
• Coordinate and place Wave orders for new launches in a timely fashion, liaising with Marketing for product launch updates.
• Support the implementation of influencer mailings (assembly, logistics, delivery status, troubleshooting), working with vendors for seamless execution.
• Assist in event and shoot logistics: product orders, timely deliveries, RSVP tracking, set-up/breakdown, gift bag assembly, and booking travel/creating itineraries.
• Maintain and update influencer contact databases (CRM records) with address changes and social handles.
• Archive and organize user-generated content for future posting and campaign tracking.
• Help prepare and submit creative briefs and assist in the creation of PowerPoint presentations.
• Support invoice processing and vendor setup, maintain budget trackers, and assist with identifying irregularities, working closely with the specialist or manager to ensure accurate and timely financial operations.

What you will bring to the team:
• 1-2 years of experience in social media, marketing, PR, or influencer relations.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Demonstrated passion for beauty, influencers, and content creators - always “in the know.” Obsession with Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and social media best practices
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive spirit.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow in a fast-paced, creative environment.
Position Logistics:
• Work-Place Essential: This role requires 5 days in person office at the 9 West Office, NYC.
• Occasional event or shoot support may require availability outside standard business hours.
