Cypress Valley Bible Church (Marshall, TX) – Associate Pastor-Teacher The Big Picture Cypress Valley Bible Church in Marshall, Texas is seeking an Associate Pastor-Teacher to serve alongside Lead Pastor Bob Bryant. Pastor Bob has faithfully served the church for 51 years and, at 77, the board feels it is time to begin looking for a pastor to join him and help carry the ministry into the next season. The church keeps the gospel simple on purpose. They believe eternal life is a free gift, received by believing in Jesus for it, and that a person who believes has it forever and can know it right now. Getting saved and growing as a disciple are two different things: discipleship is costly and matters a great deal, and believers will be rewarded (or lose reward) based on how they live, but works are not how anyone gets into heaven.
