Job Description
As an Associate Partner within the Cyber Security Practice, you will play a key leadership role in driving consulting revenue, growing the cyber security portfolio, and expanding executive‑level client relationships across Australia and the broader APAC region.
You will operate as a trusted advisor at C‑suite and senior leadership levels, leading large, complex cyber security engagements while owning revenue targets, sales growth, and practice development. This role combines market‑facing leadership, solutioning, sales ownership, and people development in a high‑growth consulting environment.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Revenue & Growth Leadership
- Own and deliver annual revenue and growth targets for the Cyber Security consulting portfolio
- Lead the sale of large, complex cyber security consulting engagements, including advisory, transformation, implementation and managed services according to cybersecurity best practices
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with existing and new clients across Financial Services, Government, Utilities, and Enterprise sectors
- Partner closely with Infosys Consulting Partners, Industry Leads, and Sales teams to position cyber security offerings within broader transformation programs
- Develop unique value propositions that are focusing on sustainably reducing security risk exposure, securitise information and operational assets as well as satisfy compliance requirements across enterprise and government sectors
- Deep understanding of the cybersecurity market (advisory/consulting, transformations, solutions, etc.) to continuously evolve the service offering and materialise on opportunities
- Develop and demonstrate a proven G2M approach across corporate and government sectors
- Collaborate with alliance and partner ecosystems to bring differentiated cybersecurity offerings to market
Cyber Security Consulting Leadership
- Develop and successfully position Cyber Security consulting offerings, including:
- Cyber strategy & operating model design
- Identity & Access Management (IAM)
- Cloud & application security
- Risk, compliance, and regulatory security (e.g. APRA, CPS 234, ISO, NIST, ISA62443, AESCSF, E8, ISM/PSPF + IRAP)
- Security transformation and maturity uplift programs
- Lead solution creation, proposal development, and client presentations
- Act as a subject‑matter expert and thought leader in cyber security for the firm (both internal and external)
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain long‑term executive relationships with clients at CIO, CISO, CTO, CRO, and Board levels
- Serve as a trusted advisor owning delivery accountability and client success across critical engagements
- Network extensively within industry forums, cyber events, and professional bodies - e.g. presence on public speaking engagements like podcasts, etc.
Practice & People Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop teams within the Cyber Security Consulting practice, including senior consultants and managers
- Contribute to practice building through recruitment, capability development, and career progression
- Drive intellectual property creation, including Points of View (POVs), whitepapers, accelerators, and market offerings
- Thought Leadership development across key domains such as cybersecurity, AI, technology transformation, etc.
- Driving both tactical and strategic hiring for practice growth in line with market demands and opportunities
Associate Partner Expectations
As an Associate Partner, you are expected to:
- Lead and deliver major client engagements and be recognised as a trusted advisor
- Demonstrate sustained financial contribution through sales, pipeline creation, and managed revenue
- Take ownership for practice growth, community development, and cyber capability maturity
- Act as a track owner for a specific geography or cyber competency area within APAC
Qualifications & Experience
- 18+ years of overall experience, with significant time spent in management consulting and cyber security advisory roles
- Demonstrated competency for developing and publishing thought leadership through different channels to build a trusted brand for cybersecurity across sectors (e.g. government and corporate sectors)
- Proven track record of revenue generation, practice growth, and large‑deal sales
- Deep and demonstrated experience across large‑scale cyber security and technology transformation programs
- Strong consulting background across business, IT, risk, digital, and security domains
- Tertiary qualifications in Technology, Cyber Security, Business, Engineering, or related fields
- Security clearances necessary for work with the Australian Federal Government (i.e. minimum Baseline Clearance)
