The Department of Operations and Information Systems (OIS) in the David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah invites applications for a tenured position at the rank of Associate or Full Professor, beginning July 1, 2027. Candidates should have an outstanding record of research accomplishment and offer evidence of continued productivity with potential for scholarly impact. We welcome candidates from all OIS-related research areas. We particularly encourage applications from scholars whose research focuses on AI, although exceptionally accomplished scholars in other areas will also receive full consideration. We will also consider candidates who publish in the best outlets in affiliated fields but have demonstrated relevance to business research.

Interested individuals should upload a cover letter, curriculum vitae, research and teaching statements, a sample of research papers, and contact information for three recommendation letter writers (letters will be only requested upon selection for a later stage interview). Review of applications will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled. For full consideration we encourage you to apply by October 31, 2026.
