Cabrini's Day Oncology and Infusion Centre offer our patients access to a comprehensive range of cancer treatments including chemotherapy, immunotherapy and infusion services. We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with demonstrated clinical and management leadership skills, to work on our busy Infusion Treatment Ward. You will act as a resource and actively participate in quality improvement methodology to ensure a high standard of patient care, assist the Nurse Manager with management of the Infusion centre, and be a leader to your peers, whilst aligned with Cabrini's Mission and Values.
Key responsibilities will include:
Providing flexible and highly responsive service to patients and consumers
Utilising clinical knowledge, experience and skills to provide leadership and operational direction
Coordinating and overseeing the delivery of patient care
Ensuring hospital policies, procedures and protocols are implemented and monitored
Holding accountability for the ward when the Nurse Manager is not present

This role would suit candidates who are looking to advance their career and gain hands-on experience in a thriving and supportive workplace. You will actively participate in quality improvement methodology to ensure a high standard of patient care. You will also have the following attributes:
Relevant Nursing Qualifications and AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Post Graduate qualification preferred
Victorian Working with Children Check
Working towards or interest in healthcare management qualifications
Minimum two years' experience in Oncology Nursing
Demonstrated leadership skills and excellent communication skills
High level organisational skills with flexibility and a positive attitude
Quality Improvement/auditing experience
Must be able to administer chemotherapy and completed ADAC
Excellent Cannulation skills
PICC and Port experience
