What awaits you:
- Establish and maintain the Supply chain systems necessary to support current and future production needs.
- Support the optimization of manufacturing equipment through the use of continuous improvement tools.
- Implement all corrective and preventive actions in a process of continuous improvement of the supply chain.
- Track, implement and manage compliance with all safety standards and regulations, including relationships with government agencies as required.
- Initiate and adjust production programs based on internal and external information, maintain optimal efficiency.
- Achievement of financial results through correct inventory management, reduction of packaging costs and the generation of savings projects.
- Communication interface between the client (VW, AUDI, FORD, NISSAN, INFINITI, STELLANTIS, MERCEDES,MAZDA, BMW, GM or others) and the organization regarding production demand and delivery planning.
- Responsible for monitoring the portal and specific requirements applicable to each client, monitoring the performance of Logistics and related to the QMS, as well as escalating the demerit of points in a timely manner. e.g.Monitoring of Q1- SIM SUPERG (FORD), VW group supply, etc.
- Use customer portals to respond in a timely manner to non-conformities and take appropriate actions to prevent their occurrence.
- Sending releases to suppliers on a weekly basis according to the receipt of customer demand
- Work with inventory policies in order to optimize inventory value levels and coverage. Avoid over inventories and line stoppages. Ensure daily monitoring of materials under your responsibility
- Monitor assigned freight budget of suppliers under your charge.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Industrial Engineer/Logistics Engineer desirable
- Advanced English
- No more than 1 year since recent graduation.
- Work with clients and suppliers outside and inside the country of origin
