Job Description

Sony Music Korea’s International Repertoire department is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Associate Manager to help drive the frontline business for international music in Korea. In this role, you will own day-to-day execution for assigned releases while developing the judgment, creativity, and commercial awareness needed to grow into a future repertoire owner.

Success means delivering strong campaigns, spotting new opportunities, and helping global artists connect more meaningfully with the Korean market.

What you will do:

  • Plan and execute marketing and sales campaigns for assigned international frontline releases.
  • Coordinate across DSP, media, content / social agencies, PR partners, and internal teams to ensure timely and high-quality campaign delivery.
  • Support campaign strategy by developing local positioning, key messages, activation ideas, and rollout plans.
  • Monitor release performance and contribute to optimization through data, market feedback, and campaign learnings.
  • Identify incremental opportunities for assigned releases, including creator angles, content ideas, media hooks, fan engagement, physical sales opportunities, or local collaborations.
  • Prepare campaign updates, reports, briefings, and post-campaign learnings for internal and external stakeholders.

Who you are:

Technical Capabilities:

  • 3–6 years of experience in music, entertanment, marketing, agency, digital media, content, or related fields.
  • Strong campaign and project management skills, with ability to manage multiple releases and timelines simultaneously.
  • Understanding of digital platforms, DSPs, social media, content ecosystems, and the Korean music / entertainment market.
  • Comfortable working with data, performance tracking, reports, and campaign optimization.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for internal coordination and partner-facing communication.
  • Able to work across agencies, DSP partners, internal teams, and global stakeholders with accuracy and responsiveness.
  • Excellent written and spoken Korean and English.

Behavioural Capabilities:

  • Ownership Mindset: Takes responsibility for assigned releases and follows through from planning to execution and reporting.
  • Curiosity: Looks beyond assigned tasks to identify new ideas, opportunities, and market signals.
  • Execution Excellence: Delivers high-quality work with strong attention to detail, timing, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Growth Mindset: Open to feedback and actively develops judgment, communication, and business understanding.
  • Agility: Adapts quickly to changing release priorities, asset timelines, partner feedback, and market conditions.
  • Collaboration: Works effectively with senior managers, DSP, agencies, media, BD, and internal stakeholders.
  • Problem Solving: Proactively flags issues and brings practical solutions rather than simply escalating problems.

What we give you:

  • You join an inclusive, collaborative and global community where you have the opportunity to fuel the creative journey
  • A modern office environment designed to foster productivity, creativity, and teamwork
  • We invest in your professional growth & development
