Virbac is seeking a dynamic Associate Marketing Manager, Mobility, Behavior, and Supplements to join our growing marketing team. In this role, the Associate Marketing Manager will report directly to the Senior Marketing Manager, Mobility, Behavior, and Supplements and will contribute to the success of these categories at Virbac by managing and implementing the marketing plans for the Veterinary, Retail, and E-commerce channels in the United States. The role responsibilities include supporting the Senior Marketing Manager in the strategic management and execution of approved marketing plans, ensuring alignment with sales objectives for optimal market efficiency and consistency. Working cross-functionally with key stakeholders, you will have the opportunity to drive impactful initiatives, contributing significantly to Virbac’s growth in the U.S. market. This role offers a unique blend of challenge and excitement, ideal for a professional eager to make a substantial impact in our rapidly evolving business.
Area of accountability no.1: Develop, Implement, and Manage Marketing Assets
Coordinate with the Senior Marketing Manager to ensure plans and execution are consistent with the category strategy.
Conduct market and channel assessments to prioritize areas of opportunity that will drive Virbac category growth .
Collaborate with internal and external creative teams and agencies to develop marketing materials (Brochures, Sell sheets, Digital & Print Ads.) for different target audiences/channels.
Manage and support end to end implementation of marketing collateral in all channels including internal medical/reg/legal review.
Drive the digital strategy and optimizations, coordinating with both digital and retail team
Expected results: Manage the design, production, and timely delivery of marketing initiatives
Area of accountability no.2: Coordinate Conferences, Events, and Webinars.
Work with the Marketing Operations Manager and serve as the category lead for exhibiting at all major U.S. veterinary trade shows/events and as key contact for conference personnel. Attend/exhibit as required.
Coordinate and support the Senior Marketing Manager in organizing quarterly and annual sales meeting.
Drive execution of professional continuing education: including the development of support materials, event scheduling, providing backend hosting of the event, coordinating post-event metrics.
Expected results: Seamless coordination of exhibiting events, internal sales meetings, and customer-facing webinars.
Area of accountability no.3: Manage Marketing Programs
Manage the development and implementation of internal business tools, e.g., product reports, competitor pricing, order forms, etc.
Manage trade offers and programs with defined KPIs.
Maintain the Mobility, Behavior, and Supplements A&P budget, including the generation of POs, monthly tracking and reconciliation, and reviewing budget tracker with Senior Marketing Manager regularly.
Expected results: Efficient delivery and maintenance of programs and materials to support selling.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or similar fields required; MBA preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of marketing or brand management experience domestically or internationally.
Progression of successful accomplishments that include experience with consumer insights, category analytics, product development, and packaging.
Strong business acumen with the ability to comprehend the business implications of decisions and display orientation toward maximizing profitability.
Excellent brand management skills, including strong attention to detail and the ability to lead cross-functional teams and meet project deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to listen and understand different perspectives to gain alignment and buy in.
Demonstrated capability to lead projects, working across departments to deliver on milestones and deadlines. Ability to multitask and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
Pet Rx and OTC category experience is a plus.
This role will be based onsite in Westlake, Texas
