Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking an Associate Manufacturing Planner to join the Air Launch Cruise Missile (ALCM) Component Remanufacture program in Heath, OH. This role will support a team of Manufacturing and Product Engineers, Technicians, and our military customers. With over 40 products produced in our Ohio facility, there is great opportunity to work in different areas to build your skillset and your career.

Position Responsibilities:

• Develops, implements and maintains various manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions and illustrations to define and document as-built configuration.
• Assists with development and integration of suppliers, processes, materials, data and technology to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements.
• Assists in reviewing supplier data to ensure manufacturing related requirements are met.
• Identifies tooling requirements and initiates tooling orders based on manufacturing and engineering requirements.
• Assists in tooling dispositions.
• Investigates and resolves manufacturing related issues of limited scope.
• Assists with producibility assessments for part or product designs.
• Assists in providing input to design, manufacturing processes and manufacturing technologies to meet cost and schedules.
• Develops work statements and sequencing of events to support delivery commitments.
• Assists in the review, maintenance and monitoring of internal documents.
• Works under general supervision.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

• Experience in technical writing such as manuals, instructions, or research papers
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and technical manuals
• Ability to read and interpret process and procedures
• Ability to learn and navigate software to produce and release engineering documents and bills of materials

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):

• Associate’s degree, working towards engineering degree, or equivalent experience
• Experience building or repairing electronics, machinery, products, vehicles, or the like
• Experience with root cause and corrective action analysis and implementation
• Experience writing standard operating procedures and process documents
• Communication skills that bridge engineering and technicians
• Ability to react quickly in a fast-paced production environment with precision

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range:

$61,200-$82,800
