Associate Manufacturing Engineer

Boeing Poland is currently hiring Associate Manufacturing Engineers for the 787 Structures Production Engineering Team to support Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) in Rzeszow, Poland

The role involves cross-functional collaboration, technical problem-solving, and daily support. The engineer will work with Manufacturing Engineers and Planners on Production Engineering for assemblies in commercial airplane programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions, and illustrations

  • Create manufacturing strategies aligned with business goals

  • Integrate suppliers, processes, materials, and technology to meet production needs

  • Review and approve supplier data for compliance

  • Define tooling requirements and resolve manufacturing issues

  • Assess producibility and provide input to meet cost and schedule targets

  • Develop work statements and delivery sequencing

  • Manage engineering changes and update production processes

  • Support Lean principles and mentor team members

  • Lead junior engineers and resolve technical issues

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at the listed location. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science

  • 2+ years related work experience

  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering documentation - engineering drawings and specifications

  • Good knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and international standards

  • Experience with CAD systems

  • Proficiency in English (both spoken and written)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with PDM/PLM systems and CATIA system

  • Knowledge of sealants, coatings, and material finishes

  • Knowledge of materials science
