What's The Role

The Senior TA Specialist owns end-to-end talent acquisition for an assigned portfolio of complex and senior roles across Liberty Caribbean, including senior leadership recruitment. Reporting to the Local People Business Partner, the role focuses on hands-on delivery of regular recruitment as well as senior and sensitive searches as an individual contributor.

They collaborate and liaise with other recruiters across the business as needed, sharing market insight and aligning shared candidates or pipelines. The post-holder also briefs and manages external recruitment partners on assigned roles, activates the local employer brand through events and campaigns, and runs local referral programs and LinkedIn engagement to build sustainable talent pipelines. The post-holder brings deep recruiting expertise, credibility to partner with senior leaders, and the judgment to manage sensitive searches with discretion.

What You'll Do

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for an assigned portfolio of regular, complex and senior roles across Liberty Caribbean, including senior leadership recruitment, from intake and sourcing through screening, assessment, offer, and pre-boarding handover.
  • Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies through direct search, LinkedIn Recruiter, professional networks, referral channels, and specialist job boards, reducing dependency on reactive posting and external agencies.
  • Assess professional qualifications, certifications, and credentials relevant to each function as part of structured candidate evaluation.
  • Manage confidential and senior-level searches with the discretion and professional judgment required for roles at Director or Head of Function level.
  • Partner with functional leaders and department heads to understand organizational structure, succession needs, and the strategic context behind each hire, acting as a trusted talent advisor rather than just a process owner.
  • Support Talent Management initiatives by identifying internal mobility opportunities as part of succession and development planning, in collaboration with the Local People Business Partner.
  • Advise hiring managers on compensation benchmarks, candidate availability, and assessment frameworks relevant to senior and specialist roles.
  • Brief and manage day-to-day delivery of external recruitment partners on assigned roles, ensuring quality of shortlists, adherence to agreed SLAs, and clear feedback loops that protect candidate experience and Liberty Caribbean’s reputation in the market.
  • Activate the local employer brand by leading recruitment events, careers fairs, and targeted brand campaigns in-market, working in partnership with the People & Comms team to bring the Liberty Caribbean story to life for prospective talent.
  • Run local employee referral programs and drive LinkedIn engagement, including curating local content, growing follower communities, and using the platform to nurture passive talent pools for current and future hiring needs.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline data and role records in iCIMS; track hiring metrics and report regularly against agreed KPIs including time-to-fill, pipeline coverage, and offer acceptance rate.
  • Collaborate and liaise with other recruiters across Liberty Caribbean as needed, sharing candidate market intelligence, aligning on cross-market pipelines, and ensuring a consistent hiring manager experience without taking on any formal team lead or coaching responsibility.
  • Maintain best-practice standards in ATS usage, candidate documentation, compliance, and hiring manager communication.
  • Participate in calibration conversations with other recruiters across the business, sharing market intelligence and candidate quality insights to support hiring consistency.
  • Functional Literacy: Working knowledge of roles, career paths, professional bodies, and market dynamics across the disciplines being recruited, with the ability to hold credible conversations with functional leaders about the talent they need.
  • Confidential Search Management: Ability to handle sensitive, senior-level searches with discretion, professionalism, and appropriate stakeholder management at all times.
  • Credential & Qualification Assessment: Able to evaluate professional designations, assess their relevance and rigour, and translate that judgment into clear hiring recommendations.
  • Stakeholder Depth: Builds genuine partnerships with functional leaders who have high expectations of TA, going beyond process to deliver real talent advisory value.
  • Recruiter Collaboration: Comfortable working alongside other recruiters across the business as an individual contributor, sharing market intelligence and aligning approaches without holding any team lead or coaching responsibility.
  • External Partner Management: Comfortable briefing, managing, and holding external recruitment partners accountable for shortlist quality, SLAs, and candidate experience on assigned roles.
  • Local Brand Activation: Energy and creativity to run local events, referral programs, and LinkedIn engagement that builds Liberty Caribbean’s presence and visibility in the talent market
  • Cross-Functional Agility: Comfortable context-switching between very different functional disciplines and role types without losing quality or momentum.

Knowledge & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. SHRM-CP, CIPD Level 5, or equivalent HR/recruitment qualification preferred.
  • Minimum 6 years of full-cycle talent acquisition experience, with at least 3 years focused on senior, specialist, or hard-to-fill role hiring.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess professional qualifications, career trajectories, and functional competency across a range of disciplines.
  • Proven experience managing confidential senior searches at Director, Head of Function, or equivalent levels.
  • Background in ICT, telecoms, technology services, or another regulated industry preferred.
  • Previous experience as a senior individual contributor or subject matter expert in a lean TA structure is a strong advantage.
  • Advanced LinkedIn Recruiter capability and working familiarity with specialist job boards, professional association networks, and direct sourcing techniques.
