In this role,you'll:
Working as part of the Governance, Assurance and Standards team, you will help plan and deliver risk-based project assurance activity across Transport’s delivery portfolios.
You will support assurance reviews, gateway readiness activities, health checks and deep dives by analysing project information, reviewing evidence and producing clear, practical findings and recommendations.
You will work constructively with project teams, practice leads and governance stakeholders to help teams prepare for assurance activity, understand outcomes and close agreed actions.
This role supports a consistent, evidence-based approach to assurance that improves delivery confidence and helps identify risks early.
Note: There are 2x permanent roles available and 3x roles Temporary Fixed Term until 31/03/2028.

About you
You bring strong analytical, communication and organisational skills, developed through experience in project assurance, governance, audit, project controls or delivery environments.
You are comfortable reviewing complex project information, identifying risks and issues, and translating findings into clear, evidence-based recommendations.
You are a trusted and objective adviser who can coordinate assurance activity, engage constructively with stakeholders and support teams to respond to assurance findings and recommendations.
You have a practical, improvement-focused mindset and can balance independence with a supportive approach to helping projects improve delivery confidence.
