We are home to some of the world’s most trusted and beloved brands, including Cosmopolitan, ELLE, Esquire, Good Housekeeping, Harper’s BAZAAR, and Popular Mechanics. We are committed to innovation, creativity, and building meaningful connections with our audiences.

Key Responsibilities (What You Are Doing)

  • Execute and optimize paid media campaigns across key acquisition channels to efficiently grow memberships, email audiences, direct products, and brand licensing initiatives.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance against acquisition goals, identifying trends and opportunities to improve efficiency, scale, and return on investment.
  • Manage day-to-day campaign setup, pacing, budgets, targeting, creative rotation, and ongoing optimizations with close attention to detail.

  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders across consumer marketing, editorial, creative, analytics, and other teams to support business priorities and campaign goals.
  • Test and evaluate audiences, creative, messaging, placements, and other campaign variables to identify opportunities for incremental growth.
  • Maintain accurate reporting and campaign documentation while helping communicate results, learnings, and next steps to key stakeholders.
  • Stay current on paid media trends, platform capabilities, measurement approaches, and emerging opportunities that can strengthen Hearst Magazines’ acquisition strategy.

Qualifications (What We’re Looking For)

  • 2+ years of experience in performance marketing, paid media, growth marketing, digital acquisition, or a related area.
  • Hands-on experience executing and optimizing paid media campaigns, with an understanding of key performance metrics and acquisition economics.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with campaign data to identify trends, diagnose performance, and recommend next steps.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns, priorities, budgets, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and translate data into clear, actionable insights.
  • A curious, test-and-learn mindset and enthusiasm for identifying new ways to improve marketing performance.
  • Experience with consumer subscription, membership, e-commerce, email acquisition, or other direct-to-consumer businesses is preferred.
  • This role is based in New York City and requires working in the office four days per week.

Benefits (What We Offer)
