About the Job:
The Associate Manager of Market Planning and Development Insights is responsible for analyzing trends, defining development success criteria and providing key insights that will help the Brand make more informed growth decisions. The role will also collaborate with the field to provide a development road map to maximize both immediate and long-term development. The Associate Manager of Market Planning and Development Insights will report to The Director of Market Planning.
The Day -to-Day:
• Analyze store performance, trade area dynamics, competitive landscape, and market trends to uncover actionable insights.
• Deliver thoughtful recommendations that influence development priorities and long-term strategy.
• Support leadership with scenario modeling and impact assessments to guide investment decisions.
• Partner with field development teams and franchisees to evaluate trade area opportunities and provide data-backed guidance.
• Facilitate alignment between corporate strategy and local market execution.
• Collaborate with external partners to refine sales forecasting models and mobile impact projections.
• Drive improvements in analytical tools to enhance accuracy and usability for field and franchise teams.
Is This You?
• 5+ years of experience working in real estate development from a research/analysis/financial perspective
• BA required; economics, business, applied geography, real estate
• Proficient in financial metrics with experience working with financial models and forecasts
• Effective communicator who can present complex findings in a clear and complete manner
• Experience managing a team and/or vendors and building an inclusive culture
• Experienced in real estate development models using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) technologies such as ESRI, MapInfo, Site Intel or other related mapping systems is a plus
• Experience in data mining and geospatial analytics using Alteryx or related software is a plus
• Ability to independently problem solve while leveraging multiple data sets
Work-Hard, Play-Hard:
Salary Range: $99,200 to $125,000 annually + bonus eligibility + benefits
