POSITION SUMMARY

The Associate Manager, Lifecycle Marketing supports the execution and ongoing optimization of Dr. Phillips Center's email and SMS marketing programs. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Lifecycle Marketing, this role builds, tests, and deploys campaigns and automations that drive engagement, retention, and revenue across the customer lifecycle. This position works hands-on with the email and SMS platforms and CRM (Tessitura) data to execute strategies set by the Senior Manager, while maintaining a high bar for accuracy, deliverability, and timeliness. This role requires strong execution skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Campaign Execution

  • Build and deploy 40–60 email campaigns per month, following the calendar and segmentation strategy set by the Senior Manager, Lifecycle Marketing.
  • Execute SMS campaigns and manage the SMS send calendar, ensuring timely, compliant, and accurate delivery.
  • Ensure accuracy of all email and SMS content, working closely with project management
  • Support the build and maintenance of automated email workflows, including welcome series, re-engagement campaigns, abandoned cart flows, and transactional emails.

Data, Segmentation & Testing

  • Work within CRM (Tessitura) to build audiences and pull data used for email and SMS targeting.
  • Support the Senior Manager in executing the A/B testing program, including setting up tests for subject lines, send time, content layout, and CTA placement.
  • Compile campaign performance metrics

Compliance & Best Practices

  • Follow established QA (Quality Assurance) and approval processes to maintain consistent, high-quality delivery.
  • Stay current with email and SMS marketing trends, tools, and best practices.
  • Ensure all email and SMS communications strictly adhere to applicable regulations, including CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and TCPA.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Follow and support all operational policies and procedures; assimilate into the arts center culture through understanding, supporting, and demonstrating the organization's core values.
  • Maintain a professional and collaborative relationship with other departments, colleagues, and partners; able to remain calm and effective under pressure.
  • Maintain Dr. Phillips Center's standards of customer service and professionalism at all times.
  • Effectively communicate in English in both written and oral forms.
  • Other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related field. Minimum of two (2) years' experience executing email and SMS marketing campaigns in a results-driven marketing environment.
  • Working knowledge of email marketing platforms (Prospect2/Active Campaign preferred).
  • Experience executing SMS campaigns to drive sales and time-sensitive notifications.
  • Familiarity pulling data and building audience segments.
  • Experience with A/B testing and reporting on campaign performance preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail and proofreading skills. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

This position requires the ability to work a variable schedule, evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet operational needs.
