The Associate Manager – Global Procurement Solutions (GPS) will play a critical role in supporting and optimizing end-to-end procurement operations across global markets. The role will partner with Procurement Category Managers, Business Stakeholders, Finance, Legal, and Suppliers to ensure seamless execution of sourcing, contracting, purchasing, supplier governance, and process improvement initiatives while driving operational excellence and stakeholder satisfaction.

Role Purpose

Lead and manage procurement service delivery across assigned categories and geographies while ensuring sourcing excellence, policy compliance, supplier performance, operational efficiency, and stakeholder satisfaction. The role will contribute to procurement transformation, continuous improvement, and digital adoption initiatives within the Global Procurement Solutions organization.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Procurement & Sourcing

  • Support global sourcing and procurement initiatives across indirect and direct spend categories.
  • Manage sourcing activities including RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, RFX events, and e-auctions.
  • Drive supplier selection, commercial evaluations, bid analysis, and negotiation support.
  • Support category strategies and procurement value creation initiatives.

Procurement Operations Excellence

  • Manage end-to-end procurement activities from sourcing through PO execution.
  • Ensure timely processing of procurement requests, purchase orders, supplier onboarding, and contract management activities.
  • Drive adherence to procurement policies, governance standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Monitor service delivery metrics and drive continuous operational improvements.

Supplier & Stakeholder Management

  • Build strong partnerships with global procurement teams and business stakeholders.
  • Act as a trusted advisor for procurement-related queries and issue resolution.
  • Drive Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) activities including performance reviews and risk mitigation.
  • Lead stakeholder governance reviews and service performance discussions.

Analytics & Business Insights

  • Leverage procurement analytics to identify savings opportunities, process efficiencies, and risk exposures.
  • Develop dashboards and reports to support data-driven decision making.
  • Monitor procurement KPIs, supplier performance metrics, contract compliance, and spend visibility.

Transformation & Continuous Improvement

  • Drive digitization, automation, and process simplification initiatives.
  • Partner with Procurement Excellence teams to standardize global processes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve cycle times, user experience, controls, and operational performance.
  • Support transformation programs across GPS service towers.

Governance & Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, contract standards, and internal controls.
  • Support audit requirements and control testing activities.
  • Identify procurement risks and implement mitigation plans.
  • Maintain documentation, SOPs, and governance standards across service delivery.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, Commerce, Business Administration, or related discipline.
  • MBA or Master's degree preferred.

Experience

  • 8–12 years of experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Category Management, Procurement Operations, or Shared Services/GCC environment.
  • Experience working with global stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience managing procurement transformation and optimization initiatives is preferred.
