Job Description

JOB PURPOSE

The purpose of this role is to support and drive the Corporate Finance function for ALD entities by effectively managing financing activities, credit ratings, financial planning, financial modelling, project finance monitoring, and strategic funding initiatives.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Responsibilities KPI
Debt Compliance & Financing Arrangement Management
  • Manage end-to-end debt compliance across all financing arrangements, including tracking repayment obligations, interest servicing, lender covenants, DSRA requirements, and regulatory submissions.
  • Ensure timely debt servicing through approval coordination, demand notice tracking, and monitoring debt outstanding balances, including NESL authentication.

Credit Rating Management
  • Lead annual and periodic credit rating assignments for all ALD entities.
  • Prepare and submit financial, operational, and project-related information to CRAs.
  • Coordinate management interactions, presentations, and rating review discussions.
  • Track rating timelines, ensure uninterrupted rating coverage, and support rating improvement initiatives through proactive stakeholder engagement and financial analysis.

Financial Planning, AOP & Budgeting
  • Preparation and consolidation of Annual Operating Plans (AOP) for ALD entities.
  • Coordinate with business and finance teams on key assumptions, projections and variance analysis.
  • Prepare business forecasts and periodic financial projections.

Financial Modelling & Business Evaluation
  • Develop and maintain financial models for project finance, construction finance, refinancing, investments, valuations, and debt capacity assessments.
  • Perform scenario analysis, sensitivity testing, NPV, IRR, DSCR, and cash-flow evaluations.
  • Assess financing structures, optimize capital mix, and prepare analytical reports for management, lenders, and investors.

Fund Raising, Refinancing & Strategic Finance Initiatives
  • Support debt fundraising and refinancing transactions.
  • Prepare lender teasers, information memoranda, and financing presentations.
  • Analyze and compare lender term sheets.

Project Finance Monitoring
  • Monitor project cost, equity infusion, and debt drawdowns.
  • Prepare detailed drawdown workings and utilization statements.
  • Coordinate issuance of CA-certified End Use Certificates.

Vendor Payments & Consultant Management
  • Process payments relating to lenders, trustees, legal counsel, auditors, consultants, valuers, and rating agencies.
  • Obtain quotations and evaluate vendor proposals.
  • Ensure compliance with Delegation of Power (DOP) requirements.
  • Facilitate vendor onboarding through SAP Ariba.
  • Validate invoices and coordinate timely processing and payment.
  • Liaise with SSC and payment teams for closure.

Stakeholder Management, Reporting & MIS
  • Manage relationships with lenders, trustees, CRAs, legal counsel, consultants, auditors, valuers, and internal teams.
  • Support internal and external audits through timely data submission.
  • Prepare periodic Corporate Finance MIS for management review.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

Commerce Graduate (B.Com) or MBA

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

Atleast 6-8 years of experience in any sector
