Job Description

Purpose:

The Device Technology Business Manager is responsible for driving the growth, profitability and transformation of the Device Technology portfolio. The role combines product marketing, commercial management, pricing governance, marcom, demand generation, A&P management, inventory governance, programs management & development, analytics and digital transformation.

This is a broad business management role requiring someone who can connect product, pricing, sales, marketing, supply chain, operations and customer needs into clear business actions. In an AI-enabled business environment, the role is expected to use data, automation and AI tools to improve decision-making, workflow design, productivity and business outcomes.

What you will be doing:

Business & Commercial Management

  • Manage DT revenue, profitability, pricing, margin and business outlook across machines, accessories and related solutions.
  • Develop and maintain pricing frameworks, cost references, price bulletins and commercial guidelines for Direct Sales and Channels.
  • Review discount requests, promotions, complex deals and profitability considerations, with clear recommendations to management.
  • Support management reviews, business planning and performance tracking by highlighting revenue risks, margin risks, growth gaps and corrective actions.

Product Management & Go-To-Market

  • Own GTM planning for DT products, services and business initiatives, from launch to end-of-life.
  • Develop product positioning, value propositions, sales narratives, FAQs, customer-facing materials and internal sales enablement content.
  • Coordinate launch readiness, product transitions, end-of-sale/end-of-service communications, upgrade campaigns and last-buy planning.
  • Work with regional and HQ stakeholders on product roadmaps, launch requirements, product information and strategic initiatives.

A&P Planning, Marcom & Demand Generation

  • Develop and support monthly DT A&P planning, budget submissions, budget shifts and utilization tracking.
  • Represent DT in monthly Marcom planning and coordinate campaign updates, product announcements, sales communications and internal briefings.
  • Partner with Marcom and Demand Generation teams to design customer acquisition, nurture and engagement campaigns across target segments and personas.
  • Track campaign effectiveness, lead quality, customer engagement signals and contribution to pipeline, with recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop lifecycle marketing programs across onboarding, adoption, retention, renewal and expansion stages.

Stock Forecast, Supply Planning & Inventory Governance

  • Consolidate and maintain rolling forecasts for DT machines and accessories using SFDC pipeline, order bank, sales outlook and business plans.
  • Work with Sales, Business Planning, Supply Chain, Order Fulfilment and Regional Planning teams to improve forecast accuracy and supply visibility.
  • Monitor stock availability, replenishment needs, lead-time issues, supply constraints and fulfilment risks for standard and bulk requirements.
  • Support inventory planning for tenders, large deployments and strategic accounts, including expedited fulfilment or air-freight business justification when required.
  • Identify excess, aging and slow-moving inventory risks and drive clearance, mitigation and lifecycle transition actions.

Program Development, Analytics, Digital Transformation & AI

  • Drive and develop new marketing program initiatives including offering, pricing, sales enablement, process design, performance tracking and customer adoption.
  • Use Power BI, Excel, Power Platform and AI tools to improve analysis, productivity, reporting and decision support.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, automate and redesign workflows across pricing, reporting, sales engagements, campaign management, forecasting and customer engagement.
  • Contribute to AI-enabled and digitally led business opportunities around document digitization, intelligent document processing, workflow automation and new service models.

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business IT, Infosystem with at least 4-5 years of similar experience
  • Demonstrated success in product or services launches, pre-sales engagements and presentations
  • Good at multitasking, comfortable working with multiple stakeholders and possess strong interpersonal skills
  • Be a self-starter, energised by challenges
  • Motivated team player and excellent communicator
  • Analytical mind with the ability to join the dots and interpret the big picture and resulting action lines
  • Strong situational awareness, ability to grasp market trends and identify opportunities
