To manage the Supply Network of the assigned area of the business by replenishing each dispatch point to meet customer service objectives whilst maintaining optimal stock cover that takes into account the distribution costs.

A DAY IN THE LIFE …

  • Supply Planning:
    Analyze and evaluate supply plans and net dispatch requirements to ensure customer needs are met, considering network complexity and supply constraints (finished goods and accessories such as cups, sugar sticks, etc.). Manage GAC consolidation hub requirements and oversee stock allocation across all OPCs.
  • Load Planning:
    Plan and optimize mixed transportation loads while considering operational and transportation constraints to ensure efficiency and cost optimization.
  • Inventory Management:
    Balance product availability with inventory cost efficiency to maintain optimal stock levels of the right materials at the right locations.
  • Stock Policy Management:
    Establish and periodically review stock policies for finished goods, particularly for Inter-Market Supply, in collaboration with planners in receiving markets. Proactively monitor stock levels across domestic and receiving markets and implement corrective actions when deviations occur.
  • Process Improvement & Variance Analysis:
    Identify key issues related to volume variances that may impact supply. Challenge existing logistics and supply processes and tools, and drive improvements to achieve measurable benefits (e.g., efficiency gains, time savings).
  • Stakeholder Communication & Alignment:
    Analyze and communicate supply-related insights effectively to relevant stakeholders. Highlight potential supply risks in advance, outlining the impact of proposed actions and associated trade-offs, ensuring that plans are realistic and aligned with business planning processes.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    Challenge factories on lot sizes and cycle times to optimize finished goods inventory and freshness. Work closely with Demand Planners in OPCs to improve demand planning accuracy.
  • Master Data & System Accuracy:
    Ensure proper master data setup and maintain accurate event management within supply planning systems (e.g., product launches, relaunches, discontinuations, and phase-in/phase-out activities).
  • Exception Management:
    Analyze and manage supply chain exceptions, align business decisions within agreed frameworks and priorities, and adjust planning outputs accordingly to ensure optimal execution.
