What's the Role

  • The Associate Manager, CVP Cloud for Liberty Caribbean is a regional role that supports the commercial product strategy, execution, and lifecycle management for the Cloud and ICT portfolio across the Liberty Caribbean (LC) region, working under the direction of the Senior Manager, Cloud ICT Product Lead.
  • Assist in the productization of hyperscaler offerings and the managed services portfolio brought by partners such as hyperscalers and SI partners.
  • Contribute to the development of business cases and investment rationales for Cloud/ICT growth and expansion in the region, including data gathering, financial modeling, and analysis.
  • Track alignment of local Cloud/ICT initiatives with the overarching group Cloud strategy and flag areas of divergence or synergy to the Senior Manager.
  • Act as day-to-day point of contact for cloud-related customer experience matters, ensuring issues are triaged, tracked, and escalated appropriately.

While this position is desired to be an on-site role based in the the Bogota, Colombia region, candidates in the following Caribbean markets will also be considered: Trinidad, Barbados, Jamaica, Grand Cayman, and Curacao.

Language Requirement: Full bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (written and spoken) is Required.

Travel Requirement: Up to 25% across Liberty Caribbean markets

What's The Role

  • Coordinate end-to-end productization of hyperscaler services, in close collaboration with internal execution teams.
  • Support the translation of hyperscaler and SI managed service capabilities into commercially viable and market-ready offerings.
  • Provide input into the development of mid-to-long term Cloud strategy for the LC region, ensuring alignment with market needs and technological evolution.
  • Support the creation of financial models and inputs for business cases covering investments, service expansions, and partnerships within the Cloud/ICT domain
  • Assist in identifying and onboarding technical and commercial resources for cloud initiatives from other business units.
  • Support the evaluation and onboarding of partners that complement the group's cloud vision and value proposition.
  • Support the management of regular cloud portfolio refreshes tailored to the needs of each local market, ensuring relevance and competitiveness.
  • Prepare materials for and participate in ongoing portfolio synergy discussions between Liberty Caribbean's ICT portfolio and the centralized Cloud product roadmap.
  • Support cloud product lifecycle management activities in an emerging category, including:
    • Monitoring strategic industry trends
    • Tracking alignment with Liberty's overarching strategy
    • Assessing regional and vertical demand
    • Analyzing competitive positioning
    • Preparing CAPEX forecasts and inputs
    • Contributing to roadmap creation and feature prioritization
    • Recommending operational model enhancements
    • Documenting functional requirements for IT and factory support (including SKU structuring, CRM, billing)
    • Supporting customer care enablement
    • Coordinating customer experience follow-up and escalation
    • Apply solution-oriented thinking via customer use cases rather than merely aligning with technology packages or hyperscaler portfolios. (Background in hyperscaler solutions is considered a strong asset.)

What You'll Need

Language Requirement: Full bilingual proficiency in English is required (C1, C2), Spanish (written and spoken) is desired.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related with 5-10 years experience
  • 2+ years of experience in Product, Commercial, or Analyst roles within Cloud, ICT, or Technology services.
  • Exposure to cloud product development or launch cycles.
  • Solid financial modeling and analytical skills; experience contributing to business cases.
  • Familiarity with hyperscaler ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle) and SI partners (Accenture, Capgemini, Infosys, or similar). AWS Cloud Practioner/Azure Fundamentals certificates desirable.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen combined with a working understanding of cloud technologies, customer-centric use cases, and market dynamics.
  • Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills; comfort producing executive-ready materials with high attention to detail

Travel Requirement: Up to 25% across Liberty Caribbean markets.
