Leading and managing civil engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle, from planning and design to construction and commissioning.
- Preparing and reviewing detailed civil engineering designs, drawings, and specifications in compliance with relevant standards and regulatory requirements
- Coordinating with design consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely and quality execution of civil works.
- Implementing and enforcing strict quality control measures, ensuring all civil works meet the highest standards of structural integrity and safety.
- Monitoring and managing project budgets related to civil engineering activities, ensuring cost efficiency without compromising quality.
- Developing and maintaining detailed project schedules, tracking progress, and ensuring milestones are met within stipulated timelines.
- Overseeing site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety protocols, environmental guidelines, and contractual obligations.
- Identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies to avoid delays or cost overruns in civil construction activities
- Liaising with government bodies and local authorities for statutory approvals, permits, and compliance documentation
- Driving innovation and adoption of best practices in civil engineering techniques to enhance productivity and sustainability.
- Mentoring and developing junior engineers and team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth
- Reporting project status, challenges, and achievements to senior management, providing clear and actionable insights for decision-making
- Ensuring alignment with Adani’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives and promoting eco-friendly construction practices on site
- Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including electrical, mechanical, and environmental to ensure integrated project delivery.
- Upholding Adani’s values of integrity, safety, and environmental consciousness in all project activities and interactions
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent from a recognized university - Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field is preferred
