Job Description

  • Knowledge of Commissioning Boiler and Turbines Instrument
  • Familiarity with P&ID diagrams, design basis/criteria document, instrument list, instrument data sheets, IO list, open loop and close loop logic diagrams, and DCS graphics
  • Understanding of all protection systems in a power plant, including FSSS, MFT, and Turbines protection
  • Expertise in vendor drawing review of DCS, PLC, field instruments, analyzers, flow metering station, CEMS, SWAS, AAQMS, control valves, vibration monitoring system, master clock system, CCTV, LAN, security system, access control system, instrumentation cables, and FO cables
  • Experience in interdisciplinary co-ordination and support to mechanical packages
  • Additional experience in BOP Instrument for power plants will be an added advantage
  • Ability to interact with OEMs, vendors, and project construction teams

Experience

  • 10-15 years of experience in the Thermal Power industry

Education Qualification

  • B.E. / B.Tech. in Electrical & Communication or Instrumentation

Certification Required

  • Any relevant certification in Thermal Power or related field (preferred)
