*Key Responsibilities of Role

The Civil Projects Engineer will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of civil engineering aspects of thermal projects. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Project Planning and Coordination: Develop detailed civil engineering plans, schedules, and resource allocation in coordination with project managers and other discipline leads to ensure timely project milestones.

· Design Review and Implementation: Evaluate and validate civil design documents, drawings, and technical specifications in line with relevant codes, standards, and client requirements to ensure constructability and compliance.

· Execution and Supervision: Oversee the execution of civil works such as foundation laying, structural concreting, piling, RCC works, and ancillary civil construction activities. Ensure that work is performed as per approved plans, quality standards, and safety protocols.

· Quality Assurance and Control: Implement rigorous quality control processes on-site including material testing, inspection, and verification to uphold the highest standards of workmanship and adherence to design specifications.

· Safety Management: Enforce strict safety policies on site, conduct safety audits, and ensure all site personnel comply with statutory regulations and company safety guidelines to maintain a zero-incident environment.

· Cost Management: Collaborate with the project finance team to monitor project budgets related to civil works, identify cost-saving opportunities, and report deviations with corrective action plans.

· Vendor and Contractor Management: Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors, supervise their civil engineering deliverables, and ensure contractual obligations and schedules are met without compromising quality.

· Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation including daily progress reports, inspection records, non-conformance reports, and as-built drawings for audits and future reference.

· Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities for approvals, inspections, and clearance, ensuring smooth communication and project compliance.

· Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for adopting innovative construction techniques, sustainable practices, and modern technologies to improve efficiency, reduce environmental impact, and enhance project outcomes.

· Team Leadership and Development: Mentor and guide junior engineers and site staff fostering a culture of collaboration, learning, and adherence to Adani’s core values of integrity and excellence.

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university or institute. A Master’s degree is preferred but not mandatory
