Responsibilities:
• Assist in delivering accounting services, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance
• Support month-end, quarterly, and year-end close activities by preparing schedules and documentation
• Prepare basic financial statements and reports for review by senior team members
• Perform account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data • Support the team in completing client deliverables within defined timelines
• Communicate status of assigned work and proactively seek guidance when needed
• Address routine accounting and system-related queries, escalating complex issues appropriately
• Adhere to quality standards, timelines, and budget expectations for assigned tasks
• Follow established processes and identify opportunities for process improvements
• Continuously build knowledge of accounting principles and stay updated on relevant tools and technologies
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or related field desired.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, or other ERP systems is a plus
• Working knowledge of MS Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality of work
• Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment
• Effective communication skills and a professional approach to client service
• Ability to follow instructions, learn quickly, and adapt to new tools and processes
• Willingness to take initiative, work collaboratively, and handle responsibilities with confidentiality
