Position

As an Associate Machinist, you will producesmachined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine. Work from blueprints, process sheets and sketches to perform production tasks, which may include the cutting and shaping of metal to precision dimensions,may make tool adjustments as necessary. Check and inspect machining operations against specified tolerances, including maintaining quality and safety standards. May identify and repair minor machine malfunctions.

Essential Functions:

• Maintains organization, cleanliness, and housekeeping within the work area and reports any maintenance issues encountered
• Assistswith basic computer numerical control (CNC) machine set-up
• Verifies conformance of finishedwork-pieceto specifications using various measuring tools such as: CMMs, calipers, micrometers, comparators, and vision systems
• Utilizes work orders, blueprints (GD&T), sketches, written and verbal instructions to complete required tasks
• Loads and unloads parts onto the machine; ensures the tools with the machine match those on the tool list
• Enters information intoCamstarmanufacturing platform (MES); creates and submits machine status reports
• Confers with production personnel to resolve basic machining problems
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Adheres to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, theAdvaMedCode, MedTech Code, and all other company policies
• Ensures Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training andmaintainingknowledge of compliance as it applies to your role
• Representsthe company in a professional manner and upholds the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties

Qualifications

• Ability to read, understand and interpretblueprintswith GD&T
• Works with team to build and sustain a safe and friendly working environment
• Stays on task and ensures current day scheduled work is completed on time
• Typically requires less than 1 year of related experience
• Requires High school diploma or GED
